- Account details — your email address and, optionally, a mobile number, used to sign you in and keep your account secure.
- Profile — your display name, username, WIMI code, and any photo or bio you choose to add.
- People you add — the names and details of people you save privately. Adding someone never notifies them.
- Wishlists & items — the wishlists, items, notes, links, and images you create.
- Circles & occasions — the private groups and dates you set up to organize people and receive reminders.
- Usage data — basic technical information needed to run the app reliably and fix problems.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Improve and develop our app and services.
- Provide a better user experience.
- Send you reminders and notifications that you request or choose to receive.
- Display third-party advertisements. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or any third parties.
- Comply with applicable laws and community standards.
What other people can see
- Your content is private by default. Only a wishlist you mark as Public can be seen by others, and only the items in it that you allow to be visible.
- People you add privately are never notified and cannot see that you added them.
- Your WIMI code and public profile let friends find you, but your private lists and people stay private.
Data security
We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and secure storage of your sign-in credentials on your device.
Your choices and rights
You can review and edit your profile, change what is public or private, and delete your wishlists, items, people, and your entire account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your personal data.
Data Deletion Request
If you request the permanent deletion of your personal data, we will permanently delete your data within 14 days of receiving your request, unless we are required by applicable laws or regulations to retain certain information.
